Unit 1 members of CUPE 3902 have voted to send their tentative agreement on to a full ratification vote.
In a narrow vote of 789 to 739 in favour, members passed the agreement reached with U of T on Wednesday.
Members will now have until Sunday to vote on ratifying the agreement. Some votes have already been taken as part of the double ballot hosted this afternoon.
If passed, the agreement will come into effect, bringing an end to the strike. If rejected, Unit 1 will remain on strike.
Results of the ratification vote are to be available on Monday.
