Unit 3 of CUPE 3902 and U of T have reached a tentative agreement, according to a memo released yesterday by the Human Resources & Equity Office.
The memo states that the agreement will be subject to a ratification vote on March 2.
If members choose not to ratify the agreement, Unit 3 may still go on strike.
Unit 3 represents sessional instructors and academic staff hired under contracts of less than one year.
The details of Unit 3’s agreement are to be released if and when it is ratified.
TAs and other employees from Unit 1 remain in negotiations in anticipation of the February 26 strike deadline.
